eBook Readers: Problems? Questions? Get Some Help!
Monday, February 28, 2011 7:00pm

Do you have a new ebook reader? Now what?

With numerous ebook readers on the market, downloading ebooks can be a confusing topic at first. Join us for an introduction to Northland's downloadable ebook collection where we'll cover the basics: what you need, the formats we offer and device compatibility.

The library's large collection of ebooks include some best-sellers, award-winning authors and many popular titles. With ebooks, the library is always open and there are no late fees as titles automatically "expire" at the end of the lending period.

We'll demonstrate the process of downloading free software to a computer and a reader, searching the ebook collection and "checking out" some titles to an ebook reader. We’ll allow time after the presentation for your questions. Please register for this program online or by calling the adult services reference desk at 412-366-8100, ext.113.
