Dr. Madhu Wangu has prepared a special four-week workshop for those who wish to learn how to express emotions and ideas in words. Bring an idea for an essay, a story or nonfiction book and complete the first draft of a short piece or an outline of a longer piece within the four sessions.

Dr. Wangu, retired professor of Hindu and Buddhist art history at the University of Pittsburgh, has presented Writing Meditation workshops at the library for four years, facilitates the Pennwriters Mindful Writers Weekly Group and has published many fiction and nonfiction works. She has prepared this workshop especially for the library, similar to the Meditation Seminar she presented at the Pennwriters Annual Conference. Dr. Madhu's website is www.spirituality-sparks.com

The fee for each session is $25.00. Please register for the four workshop sessions in advance through the library's website or call the library at 412-366-8100 X113. You may pay the fee at the start of each session.
