FEBRUARY BREAD FOR BOOKS – PIZZA AND MORE!
Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in February
Sir Pizza ascends to the throne in February as the Northland Public Library Foundation’s featured sponsor for its Bread for Books program. Bring a voucher to Sir Pizza’s Ross Township or Franklin Park location and 15% of your total sale will be donated to Northland Library. Their generous offer is good on take-out as well as dine-in! The fundraiser will run EVERY Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in February!
You must present a voucher when ordering for the Library to get the donation!
PLEASE TAKE THOSE WOODEN NICKELS!
January 15 through April 15
Our local Whole Foods store in Wexford has generously included Northland Public Library in their Nickels for Nonprofits program from January 15 through April 15.
When you bring your own reusable shopping bags, Whole Foods will give you the opportunity to have five cents per bag taken off your total sales, or offer you some “wooden nickels”. Please take the Wooden Nickels! Deposit them in the Northland box as you exit the store. The total collected will be donated in cash to the Northland Public Library Foundation for the support of the Library.
Got pierogi? WE DO!
Thursday, February 21, from 2:00pm to 7:00pm
Back by popular demand, Pittsburgh’s first and only Polish Pierogi truck will return for another parking lot pierogi party to dish up the hot dumplings along with stuffed cabbage and haluski on Thursday, February 21, from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. A wide selection of their frozen pierogi will be available also. Grab a dozen to go, maybe a few Polish Platters for dinner-15% of the total sales will be donated to the Library and no voucher is needed for Northland to benefit from these pierogi parties!
Check out their website at www.polishpierogi.com and follow their sizzlin’ Pierogi antics on Facebook!
The Northland Public Library Foundation would like to thank all who made January’s Bread for Books fundraiser the best ever to date, and especially Zum Zum, LLC of www.polishpierogi .com for their continued support.
