Pittsburgh Noir: Our Hometown And Its Hidden Underworld

Well-known local mystery writer, Kathleen George, has edited a stunning collection of dark crime stories set in our city’s familiar neighborhoods. Written by Pittsburgh authors or others who have lived in the city, each story highlights an element that lead to criminal behavior…fearful secrets, guilt, rebellion and denial. The book, Pittsburgh Noir, features stories by Stewart O’Nan, Tom Lipinski, Kathleen George, Nancy Martin, K.C. Constantine, Kathryn Miller Haines and others. Meet some of these interesting authors as they describe the backgrounds for their stories that take place all over the city and their inspiration for writing about Pittsburgh’s Dark Side.
