Once again, Northland Library will be a drop-off point for the collection of hand-knit or crocheted scarves for KnitHope. Knithope is a non-profit organization that works with North Hills Community Outreach and the Light of Life Mission to distribute scarves each year to the homeless and others in need in the Pittsburgh area. The scarves should be approximately 60 inches long and 5 inches wide, suitable for a man or woman. Collection boxes will be available on both floors of the library from August 15th through October 15th.
If you enjoy knitting or crocheting, consider making a welcome, warm gift for someone who needs it. Find more information on Knithope’s website: www.knithope.org
